So you want to learn a little HTML

(HyperText Markup Language)
the language of the World Wide Web

Typically, html is used by enclosing some text between two tags. In the previous sentence, the word tags was enclosed between a special pair of symbols: and to get that italic effect

Our news itmes can be formatted with a little simple HTML. Here are a few things you might want to try:

Effect Tags Notes
Italic Put your text between the tags to show that text as italics
Bold Put your text between the tags to show that text as bold

Heading

Put your text between the tags to show headings. The numbers 1 to 5 are after the 'h' to show heading level. We recommend that you limit to choices to 3,4 and 5 so that your news item fits in with the format of the rest of the page.
